We are looking for a HSE Supervisor to join our team.
Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, reporting to HSE Manager, you will be responsible for Carry out audits, monitoring and evaluations of activities related to occupational safety, identifying variables for controlling diseases, accidents, quality of life and the environment, in order to ensure conditions that control and reduce the risk of accidents, in accordance with specific legislation, standards , procedures and company guidelines.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Carry out inspections in the workplace and other facilities of the unit, identifying dangerous conditions, taking all measures to eliminate risks, reporting and guiding workers in order to eliminate unsafe conditions and acts.
2. Provide with the competent body the survey of environmental risks, as well as the preparation of the PGR, provide support to SIPAT by organizing the necessary activities and resources.
3. Carry out expertise and analysis of the causes of occupational diseases and the environmental conditions in which they occurred, taking the measures required by law, in order to avoid their recurrence, as well as correct the unhealthy causes of these diseases.
4. Carry out control services supporting restaurant work, property security, concierge and documents for restricted use of the outpatient environment, in order to guarantee good service to the internal public and visitors.
5. Collaborate with CIPA in its programs, studying its observations and proposals, with a view to adopting corrective and preventive solutions for accidents at work.
6. Collaborate in projects of building modifications or new installations of the company/units, adoption of technologies and work processes, aiming at creating safer conditions at work.
7. Participate in the elaboration and implementation of occupational health and safety (OSH) policies and standards, as well as maintaining documentation for legal assistance.
8. Develop educational activities in the area of health and safety at work.
9. Establish prevention and maintenance measures for fire-fighting equipment in perfect conditions of use, controlling its distribution on the unit's premises and sending them for maintenance and recharging.
10. Determine and guide workers in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as acquire and distribute all equipment.
11. Provide and catalog the execution of signs, posters or safety signs and provide warning signs, allusive posters and risk maps.
12. Collect and study statistics on accidents at work, occupational and occupational diseases, analyzing their causes and severity, with a view to adopting preventive measures.
13. Promote campaigns, lectures and other forms of training with the aim of disseminating occupational safety and hygiene standards, as well as informing and raising awareness of workers about unhealthy, dangerous and painful activities, monitoring and evaluating training activities and dissemination.
14. Prepare training programs on occupational safety, including programs to raise awareness and disseminate safety standards, strengthening awareness and/or dissemination of standards and procedures.
15. Ensure that procedures for conservation, cleaning and hygiene of the work area are observed, as well as guide third parties in also complying with safety, discipline and accident prevention rules.
16. Establish, implement, maintain and evaluate the HSE MS, in accordance with the Prysmian Group's HSE MS, and the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards;
17. Provide professional and operational support to managers, employees and contractors in relation to HSE, their tasks and responsibilities;
18. Evaluate HSE investments;
19. Promote HSE awareness throughout the organization;
20. Report the performance of the HSE MS to plant management for review and for use as a basis for system improvement.
