At Service Stream, we're looking for an experienced HSE Business Partner to partner with operational leaders, influence safe work practices, and help strengthen safety capability across our telecommunications projects throughout the ACT.

This is a highly visible role where you'll work alongside frontline teams, coach leaders, conduct site assurance activities, and drive meaningful safety outcomes. If you're passionate about critical risk management, learning culture principles, and creating safer workplaces through engagement rather than enforcement, we'd like to hear from you.

About the Role

  • Partner with frontline leaders and service partners to strengthen safety capability and accountability
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to operational teams on critical risk controls and safe work practices

Ideally, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Health, Safety and Environment role
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, standards, and management systems
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and writing investigation reports
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach frontline leaders
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 and digital HSE reporting platforms

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in WHS (minimum)
  • ICAM Investigation qualification highly regarded
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Additional qualifications in WHS, Environment, Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline will be highly regarded
