We are seeking an experienced HSE and Facilities Manager to lead the implementation, communication, and coordination of all Environmental, Health & Safety (HSE) programs across the organization.
This is a high-impact role responsible for driving HSE strategy across multiple locations, strengthening a zero-harm culture, and ensuring operational excellence in a complex, multi-site environment.
You will provide both strategic and operational leadership across HSE and Facilities, playing a key role in supporting business objectives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a strong and sustainable safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
HSE Leadership & Compliance
Lead and support the deployment of local HSE programs across all company locations
Collaborate with global HSE teams within Sercel and Viridien to implement HSE systems, programs, and strategic initiatives
Promote and sustain a strong safety culture aligned with a zero-harm philosophy
Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT)
Interface with regulatory authorities and manage all required reporting
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and job safety analyses, implementing corrective actions as needed
Lead safety audits and provide regular reporting to local and global stakeholders
Monitor and improve the effectiveness of HSE training programs
Maintain documentation and records to meet internal and external standards
Training & Awareness
Deliver HSE training and ensure completion of all mandatory compliance programs
Build organizational awareness, knowledge, and preparedness related to HSE
Emergency Response
Lead emergency response efforts, including medical situations and facility evacuations
Ensure appropriate preparedness and response protocols are in place
Facilities Management
Coordinate with building management and subcontractors on facility-related activities
Oversee maintenance programs (fire protection, life safety, etc.)
Manage facility-related projects and initiatives
Support site expansion or relocation activities, including new premises search and office moves
Sustainability & Certifications
Maintain ISO 14001 certification
Support bi-annual carbon footprint measurement initiatives
Contribute to ESG-related objectives and reporting
Additional Responsibilities
Conduct safety audits across other office locations as required
Participate in global HSE summits (e.g., US or Europe)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
10+ years of experience in HSE within a manufacturing or industrial environment
5+ years of leadership experience covering HSE and Facilities
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT)
Professional certifications such as OSHA 501, ASP, or CSP are preferred
Experience working in multi-site or geographically distributed environments
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive cultural change
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels
Experience managing subcontractors and external partners
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Benefits Package
Base salary: $100,000 – $115,000 per year
(Final compensation based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity)
