HSE Advisor - Goyder BESS Project - North East of AdelaideUGL is a leader in Australia's energy transition, delivering large-scale solar, wind and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across the country.As an onsite HSE Advisor, you'll play a key frontline role on the Goyder BESS, a major renewable energy project helping shape South Australia's energy future.Working alongside experienced project and HSE leaders, you'll support the safe delivery of civil, electrical and high-voltage construction works while building your career within UGL's growing portfolio of renewable energy projects.Whether you're already working in renewables or bring safety experience from major infrastructure, power, utilities or construction projects, this is an opportunity to contribute to a project that's making a real impact.Why this roleJoin the team delivering one of South Australia's most significant battery energy storage projects.Work closely with experienced HSE leaders in a hands-on site role.Be part of UGL's growing renewable energy business, with future opportunities across battery, wind and power projects.Adelaide-based candidates are encouraged to apply.10/4 roster.About the roleAs an HSE Advisor, you'll spend most of your time in the field, supporting supervisors and frontline crews to maintain a safe and productive workplace.Working closely with the HSE Manager and wider project team, you'll help drive a positive safety culture, support compliance requirements and provide practical guidance across all stages of construction.This role will suit someone who enjoys being visible on site, building strong working relationships and influencing positive safety outcomes through engagement with workers.Key responsibilitiesProvide hands-on, day-to-day HSE support across site activities.Support pre-starts, toolbox talks and onsite safety conversations.Conduct regular site walks, inspections and safety interactions.Assist with incident reporting, investigations and follow-up actions.Manage HSE documentation, reporting and compliance with UGL's HSE Management System.What we offerOpportunities to work across UGL's growing pipeline of renewable energy projects.Individual Development Plans to support your career growth.Access to our OneRewards employee benefits program.Discounted Medibank health insurance.Participation in our AIA Vitality wellness program.16 weeks paid primary parental leave.Salary continuance insurance.About youExperience as an HSE Advisor on renewable energy, power, infrastructure or major construction projects.Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).Comfortable working a 10/4 roster.Strong site presence and ability to build credibility with frontline teams.Practical approach to safety, including experience with incident reporting and investigations.About UGLUGL delivers end-to-end engineering, construction, operations and maintenance services across rail, transport, communications, oil and gas, power, renewables, resources, water and defence.We partner with some of the world's largest companies, government agencies and private sector organisations.
