The Role
Reporting to the Wood T&I HSE Lead, the HSE Advisors will work closely with blue-collar teams in the field to promote safe behaviours, mentor workers, and support supervision in ensuring compliance with Wood and Ampol procedures and standards. Candidates must be confident working in high-risk environments and capable of intervening, coaching, and leading by example.
This is a shutdown role requiring a 6/1 roster with minimum 11-hour shifts. Both day and night shift opportunities are available. The project involves work at heights and across multiple elevated locations; therefore, advisors must be comfortable operating in these conditions. This shutdown will be dynamic, challenging, and highly rewarding—ideal for HSE professionals seeking experience in complex, fast-moving environments.
The shutdown is scheduled to commence at the beginning of May, for approximately 12–14 weeks. Brisbane-based applicants are highly encouraged to apply.
Only Australian citizens or individuals with valid working rights for this region will be considered.
