About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support our Alcoa operations, primarily based in Pinjarra, with occasional travel to Wagerup as required.

Working closely with Project Leaders, Supervisors and frontline teams, you will provide practical HSE guidance, coaching and assurance to support safe and successful project delivery. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building relationships, engaging with the workforce and influencing positive safety behaviours

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HSE leadership, coaching and support to project teams, supervisors and contractors
  • Conduct audits, inspections, investigations and assurance activities to drive continuous improvement
  • Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and workforce engagement initiatives
  • Maintain HSE reporting, risk registers and project compliance requirements
  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to promote a strong Zero Harm culture across operations

About You

  • Diploma or higher qualification in Health, Safety, Environment or a related discipline
  • Substantial experience in a similar HSE Advisor role within operational plant, maintenance or brownfields environments
  • Experience facilitating incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to positively influence others
  • Passion for safety leadership and creating high-performing, safe workplaces
