The Opportunity

Join a long-term Defence contract that offers genuine variety, national exposure and a clear pathway into leadership. UGL is engaged by the Commonwealth to operate and maintain fuel-related assets supporting the Australian Army, Navy and Air Force, giving you the opportunity to work across a portfolio of critical Defence infrastructure throughout WA, NT and QLD.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you'll work closely with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams, acting as the link between strategy and on-the-ground execution. Partnering with another HSE Advisor, you'll support O&M to manage risk, lead investigations, conduct audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives that deliver real outcomes.

This is a highly visible role with regular engagement across site and office-based teams, allowing you to influence decision-making, build strong stakeholder relationships and play a key role in strengthening safety performance across the contract. Requires

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.

  • Proven experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, fuels, energy or chemical processing environments.

  • Current Drivers Licence

  • Australian citizenship and ability to pass a police check.
