Are you an organised and competent Administrator looking for your next opportunity? Smart Environmental Ltd is seeking a new member to join the Thames-based Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) team.
Smart Environmental Limited works on behalf of local councils, businesses, and communities providing rubbish and recycling collections. Acquired by Blue Planet and with a large fleet
of collection vehicles and line haul operations, our mission is to divert waste from landfill.
About the role
We're looking for an experienced Administrator to support our HSE team. This role is responsible for owning and managing the administration requirements of our Health, Safety and Environment
systems and documentation.
This is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday role based in our Kopu Support Office.
About you
While the role sits within the Health, Safety & Environment team, prior HSE knowledge is not essential. It is your solid administrative experience, strong organisational skills, and confidence in managing your own workload that we are looking for. The HSE team often works remotely and across multiple locations, so at times you may be the only HSE team member in the office, working independently while staying connected and communicating regularly with the wider team online.

to take ownership of your responsibilities and work confidently on your own.

We have relationships dating back 20 years to when the company was first formed as Streetsmart Limited.
Operating in the North and South Island and with a large workforce, modern systems and scalable operations, we believe that we are the ideal fit between a small local contractor and large international companies.

We employ staff directly within the communities in which we work.
We have been servicing Councils around New Zealand for 20-years.
We use local service providers to support our operations as part of our philosophy of working with the local community.
