What is your role?

As HR Shared Services Senior Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering efficient, standardized, and compliant HR shared services across the employee lifecycle. You will support critical HR processes such as onboarding and offboarding, ensure operational excellence through process governance and continuous improvement, leverage HR systems and analytics to enhance service delivery, and contribute to an exceptional employee experience while supporting Corning's global workforce needs.

What will you do?

  • Facilitate and coordinate employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and other HR shared services processes through the consistent application of standardized procedures.
  • Manage employee data updates, case management activities, and inquiries from employees and managers while ensuring high service levels and timely resolution.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity by implementing and following process controls, company policies, regulatory requirements, and established operating procedures.
  • Evaluate existing workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that increase efficiency and enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Apply HR systems expertise, analytical capabilities, and advanced Excel skills to resolve operational issues, identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect policy changes, process enhancements, and operational best practices.
  • Support leadership reporting requirements by preparing analyses, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing insights related to shared services operations.
  • Monitor automated systems and tools used within HR Shared Services, identify trends or issues, and escalate risks or improvement opportunities when appropriate.

What do you need?

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1 year of experience in Human Resources, Shared Services, HR Operations, or related functions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
