Overview

Waters is seeking a skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, configure, and support solutions across the ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and related enterprise capabilities. This role will work closely with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and digital experience platforms, including Slate / EmployeeWorks Web App to gather requirements, perform systems analysis, and deliver scalable solutions that improve employee experience and operational efficiency, while leveraging out-of-the-box platform capabilities wherever possible.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, script includes, client scripts, and integrations within ServiceNow.• Configure and enhance HR Service Delivery modules, including: o HR Case Managemento Employee Center / Employee Service Centero HR Service Catalogo Lifecycle Events (Journeys)o Knowledge Management• Develop, maintain, and enhance HR Service Catalog items, including forms, workflows, approvals, and integrations.• Integrate and support EmployeeWorks Web App as the primary front-end experience, enabling conversational access to HR services, knowledge, and case management workflows.• Build and support solutions aligned with HR and business requirements, prioritizing out-of-the-box functionality and platform best practices.• Support platform upgrades, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.• Troubleshoot and resolve platform and HRSD-related issues, leveraging log analysis, script debugging, and integration failure triage.• Participate in Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate new platform capabilities, including AI-driven experiences.• Assist with development and support of other ServiceNow modules as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and configuration (JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer).• Strong expertise in ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) modules.• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining HR Service Catalog items (forms, workflows, approvals).• Strong experience with Slate or EmployeeWorks Web App, UI Builder, and portal/widget configurations, and Workspace.• Strong expertise with Performance Analytics, dashboards, and reporting, including understanding of underlying ServiceNow data structures.• Experience in requirements gathering, systems analysis, and solution design.• Working knowledge of HR data models and case management structures within ServiceNow.• Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server).• Strong understanding and experience applying best practices in instance health monitoring and platform security, including handling sensitive HR data.• Solid understanding of ITIL principles, HR Center of Excellence, or enterprise service delivery frameworks.• Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions using standard platform capabilities and best practices.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
