EJ Water Products has an immediate opening for a Custodial Maintenance team member at our Water Products facility on 2nd shift, starting pay of $23.00 per hour.

Location: East Jordan, MI

Responsible for the sanitation of the Water Products facilities to include janitorial responsibilities and general facility maintenance as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Cleans the restrooms, lunchroom, locker rooms, offices, general cleanup of the production space and area around building as assigned.
• Uses power and/or hand tools per work instruction database and associated information systems
• May drive industrial equipment to move materials as well as an industrial sweeper
• May use a computer to obtain and or input information
• May be assigned to jobs in other departments
• May aid in training of others
• Provides suggestions for improvement
• Must meet physical demands as stated below
• Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement with regard to a safe work environment. Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.
• May assist with stocking, troubleshooting, and maintenance of vending machines at Water Products.
• Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
• Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Industrial vehicle/equipment license where applicable.
