The HRIT Specialist (Workday) is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the organization’s HR systems landscape and applications. This role ensures system stability, data integrity, process optimization, and seamless integrations between HR platforms and enterprise systems.
The role also supports HR digital transformation initiatives, system enhancements, reporting, and automation for HR efficiency and employee experience.
What are you accountable for?
Act as the HR Technology partner, advising HR and the Company on leveraging technology to improve processes, productivity, and employee experience. Manage and enhance the HR technology landscape for reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
Manage HR system integrations, data quality, and consistency to ensure seamless data flow. Enable data-driven decision-making by enhancing HR reporting, dashboards, and data accessibility.
Provide expert functional and technical support for HR systems, resolving issues promptly to minimise disruption and ensure optimal system performance.
Conduct regular system audits and reviews to identify potential risks, ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, and recommend proactive solutions.
Support HR transformation initiatives, encompassing system implementations, vendor evaluations, and technology upgrades, to modernise HR functions.
Strengthen HR data governance by ensuring accuracy, proper controls, and audit compliance. Maintain proper governance of system access and changes, including documentation, testing, and release management.
Drive continuous improvement of HR systems by identifying automation opportunities and optimising processes. Translate business needs into system solutions by gathering requirements, proposing, and implementing enhancements.
Partner with IT and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of HR system changes, integrations, and projects. This guarantees effective solution implementation.
What do you need to have it fit this role?
Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes (Hire to Retire lifecycle)
Preferably experienced with Workday functional areas such as Workforce Management, Recruitment, Absence Management, Compensation, Talent.
Understand Workday and HRIS information structure, integration, function and processes
You have an understanding of HR policies, roles, and HR processes
You are highly organized with ability to support multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, work independently and as part of a team
You have excellent investigation/diagnostic skills and familiar with complex technical problems
You have a demonstrable ability to build sound relationships and clearly communicate expectations
You thrive in working with strategy, tactics and execution in your field of expertise
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and timelines
Agile and ability to adapt to the constants change through innovation
Curious and forward thinker, have a can do mindset, be a great communicator on technical matters
