Purpose Statement:
The HRIS Training & Systems Specialist will develop strong proficiency in the company’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and guide the organization in maximizing its capabilities. This role delivers training to the leadership team, creates clear SOPs, and supports system consistency and efficiency. The Specialist collaborates with HR leadership to refine HR processes, strengthen user adoption, and contribute to HR technology initiatives.

Essential Duties:
- Ensure the HRIS is used to its full capability across the organization.
- Review system features, identify opportunities for improved utilization, and recommend enhancements.
- Troubleshoot system issues and support end-users with HRIS questions and needs.
- Develop and deliver HRIS training programs for Directors, Managers, and staff to ensure effective and consistent system use.
- Facilitate individual, group, and virtual training sessions.
- Create user-friendly training materials such as job aids, quick guides, presentations, and videos.
- Support ongoing user adoption and provide follow-up coaching as needed.
- Write, document, and maintain SOPs for HRIS processes and workflows.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with HR standards.
- Partner with HR team members to streamline HR workflows and maximize system efficiency.
- Maintain data integrity and assist in reporting and analytics as needed.
- Supports broader HR operations by stepping into key areas as needed to ensure continuity and departmental effectiveness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong presentation, public speaking, and group facilitation abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Able to translate complex system information into clear, user-friendly instructions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and serve as a subject matter expert for HR platforms.
- Maintain a current driver’s license in good standing and qualify under the Quapaw Nation Motor Vehicle Policy.

Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a professional Training & Development role.
- Certifications in HRIS systems or related HR technology are preferred.
Working Conditions:
The work is performed in an office environment with no disagreeable conditions. Candidates must be able to work in a diverse cultural setting due to the sensitive nature of the position.
