COMPENSATION: $24.34 - $28.60/hour, Home Office Grade 3

THE OPPORTUNITY

YES Prep needs a dynamic HRIS Specialist with a robust set of experiences, to make our mission a reality. As a YES Prep employee, you will achieve jaw-dropping results, create pathways to opportunity for our students, and build transformative relationships.

To put it simply, you will strive to ensure all current, prospective, and outgoing YES Prep employees’ files are maintained according to federal and state regulations. You will also utilize the applicant tracking system and Munis to align and process personnel actions in conjunction with timely employee communication as needed.

THE ROLE

When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining data in HRIS systems and databases and ensuring information is available on a timely basis;
  • Partnering with the Talent Management team to assist and support YES Prep Employees (current and future) with changes in employment, off-boarding, and other related tasks;
  • Reviewing offer letters,verifying eligibility to work in the U.S., and reviewing background check information in accordance with legal requirements/organizational policies and procedures;
  • Performing group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and research/reports on any data discrepancies;
  • Maintaining responsibility for high data integrity of HRIS data byconducting, audits, troubleshooting irregularities,correcting discrepancies, and partnering with Talent teammates, Payroll, or other teams to research solutions and ensure compliance;
  • Conducting basic to basic data analysis on HR data such as compensation, certification, terminations, and employee changes, as directed;
  • Providing day-to-day maintenance of the system and escalating issues to internal and external parties as needed;
  • Executing contractor management processes for non-instructional positions, including document review, background check review, data validation, compliance tracking, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

MUST HAVES

  • Associate’s degree or 2 years of professional experience
  • 0-2 years of professional experience in a human resource, administrative, or operations -focused role

THE NICE TO HAVES

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
  • Human Resources experience or a strong desire to dive into the Human Resources field
  • Microsoft Excel Expert

THE PERKS

  • CompensationThis position is a non-exempt, hourly position; offers commensurate with experience.
  • Health and Supplemental Insurance– A $0 monthly medical option or a $24 monthly option that includes $50 YES Prep Paid Health Savings Account contribution, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20+ hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits, and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits.

  • Paid Time Off– Employees working 20+ hours a week receive 15 days of Paid Time Off in addition to the system closures during the Academic Calendar
