As an HRIS Senior Analyst, you’ll own a defined Workday domain and play a key role in shaping how technology enhances colleague experience across the organisation.

If you’re excited by ownership, continuous improvement, and the opportunity to influence how HR systems evolve, we’d love to hear from you.

Who Are We?

Not just another building society. Not just another job.

We're the fourth biggest building society in the UK and what makes us a bit different is that we're a mutual organisation. We don't have shareholders; we're owned by our members.

Our colleagues say Skipton's a great place to work, and you could be one of them, bringing with you new ideas on how we can keep customers at the heart of what we do.

Whatever your background, and whatever your goals, we'll help you take the next step towards a better future.

What Will You Be Doing?

Reporting to the HRIS Senior Manager, you’ll shape how solutions are designed, prioritised and delivered to create meaningful improvements for colleagues and the business. You will:

  • Own a Workday product domain (e.g. Hiring, Employee Experience, Reward, Technical)
  • Translate business needs into effective solutions and measurable outcomes
  • Contribute to demand shaping and prioritisation through structured forums
  • Configure and enhance Workday modules, processes, and integrations
  • Participate in design discussions to ensure scalable and consistent solutions
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve colleague experience
  • Ensure data integrity, security and compliance
  • Support releases, testing, and continuous improvement
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across People, Tech and the business

What Do We Need From You?

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a thoughtful, outcomes-driven approach- someone who enjoys solving problems, collaborating with others and continuously improving how things are done.

Experience

  • Experience working with Workday or similar HR systems, particularly configuration and process improvement
  • Experience delivering system changes end-to-end
  • Exposure to reporting, analytics, or Power BI
  • Experience working in structured delivery or governance environments

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a curious, continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical, user-focused solutions
  • Confident engaging with stakeholders at different levels
  • Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Knowledge

  • Understanding of HR processes and data
  • Awareness of data governance and security principles
  • Exposure to integrations or enterprise technology environments (desirable)

We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. Even if your experience doesn’t fully match every requirement, we would still encourage you to apply.

What’s In It For You?

Skipton values work/life balance and we are proud to support hybrid and flexible working, where possible. We have a newly refurbished head office which offers a vibrant and collaborative working space.

We have a range of other benefits available to you including;

  • Annual discretionary bonus scheme
  • 25 days standard annual leave + bank holidays + rising 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 30 days
  • Holiday trading scheme allowing the ability to buy and sell additional annual leave days
  • Matching employer pension contribution (up to 10% per annum)
  • Colleague mortgage (conditions apply)
  • Salary sacrifice scheme for hybrid & electric car
  • A commitment to training and development
  • Private medical insurance for all our colleagues
  • 3 paid volunteering days per annum
