Within our HR Services Delivery organization, we are looking for a HRIS Project Manager - Payroll & HR Administration to support the evolution, stability and performance of our local HR applications ecosystem.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head of HR Services Delivery North Europe and working closely with the HRSD Projects & Transformation Lead, the HRIS Project Manager is responsible for the functional support, maintenance, governance and continuous improvement of local Payroll and HR Administration applications.

In a context of HR transformation, payroll model evolution and deployment of new solutions, the role aims to ensure application stability, support business users, manage system enhancements, coordinate stakeholders, and secure data flows and interfaces across the HR landscape.

Key Responsibilities HRIS Functional Expert

Act as the functional focal point for local Payroll and HR Administration applications by:

  • Developing and maintaining strong functional knowledge of all applications within the scope.
  • Understanding end-to-end Payroll and HR Administration processes supported by the systems.
  • Ensuring alignment between business requirements and system capabilities.
  • Assessing the impact of application changes on HR operations and processes.
  • Maintaining up-to-date functional documentation, procedures and user guides.
  • Identifying dependencies between applications, interfaces and upstream/downstream systems.
  • Coordinating with HRIS, IT teams and external vendors whenever required.

Application Support & Incident Management

Ensure effective management of application-related incidents and support activities:

  • Analyze incidents reported by Payroll and HR Administration teams.
  • Investigate root causes in collaboration with HRIS, IT teams and third-party providers.
  • Manage and monitor support tickets through resolution.
  • Validate implemented fixes and corrective actions.
  • Communicate incident status and solutions to impacted stakeholders.
  • Contribute to service quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

Business Requirements & Change Management

Support the management of enhancement requests and local HRIS initiatives:

  • Gather, analyze and challenge business requirements when appropriate.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications.
  • Assess impacts on processes, interfaces and other HR systems.
  • Participate in solution design and implementation activities.
  • Coordinate discussions with IT teams, HRIS experts and software vendors.
  • Conduct functional validation and user acceptance testing (UAT) before deployment.
  • Ensure smooth transition of new functionalities into production.

HRIS Projects & Transformation

Contribute to local and regional HR transformation projects by:

  • Supporting payroll transformation initiatives and future payroll solution implementations.
  • Participating in system migrations, upgrades and process optimization projects.
  • Coordinating testing campaigns and ensuring business readiness.
  • Supporting change management and user adoption activities.
  • Managing project deliverables, timelines and stakeholder communications.

Profile Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HRIS, HR Applications or HR Technology environments.
  • Experience managing HRIS projects and system enhancements.
  • Experience working with payroll and/or HR administration processes.
  • Previous experience in application support and incident management.

Technical Skills

  • Good understanding of HR data flows and system interfaces.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, UAT and release management.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Understanding of HR application ecosystems and integrations.
  • Familiarity with Payroll systems and HR service delivery environments.
