This individual will play a critical role in validating payroll functionality across multiple concurrent acquisitions and HR transformation projects, including payroll setup, earnings and deduction validation, tax and banking configuration support, payroll balancing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). The role requires strong analytical skills, systems thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve payroll-related risks before go-live.
The HRIS & Payroll Implementation Analyst will also support workforce standardization efforts and help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and labor requirements, including certified payroll and prevailing wage obligations where applicable.

• Support standardization of payroll, timekeeping, onboarding, and workforce administration processes
• Identify gaps between legacy payroll practices and corporate standards and recommend remediation plans
• Assist with development and maintenance of implementation documentation, SOPs, testing templates, and payroll validation checklists
• Support reporting validation and payroll audit processes
Certified Payroll & Compliance
• Support setup and validation of certified payroll requirements for acquired entities where applicable
• Assist in ensuring compliance with prevailing wage laws, Davis-Bacon requirements, and related reporting obligations
• Validate job classifications, fringe benefit structures, union configurations, and labor allocations in partnership with HR, Payroll, and Finance
• Support payroll compliance reviews, audits, and regulatory reporting activities
Project & Operational Support
• Support multiple concurrent implementation projects and acquisition integrations
• Track implementation risks, issues, dependencies, and testing outcomes
• Participate in implementation planning meetings, status reviews, and post-go-live support activities
• Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the implementation process
• Provide end-user support, troubleshooting assistance, and knowledge transfer where needed
Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience supporting payroll systems, HRIS implementations, payroll operations, or payroll testing activities
• Hands-on experience with payroll validation, payroll balancing, payroll auditing, or payroll system configuration
• Experience supporting HRIS or payroll system implementations/conversions
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, taxes, deductions, garnishments, and payroll compliance fundamentals
• Experience performing system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), or configuration validation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines in fast-paced project environments
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Dayforce experience strongly preferred
• Experience supporting M&A integrations or multi-entity payroll environments

Why This Role Matters
This role is critical to ensuring newly acquired organizations are integrated into Dayforce accurately, compliantly, and with minimal disruption to payroll operations. The HRIS & Payroll Implementation Analyst helps protect the organization from payroll errors, compliance risk, operational delays, and implementation failures by ensuring payroll configurations are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment.
