Job Description

Are you ready to help shape the future of capital markets?

We are looking for an HRIS, Payroll & Digital Project Manager to join Euronext's HR Transformation team. Based in Athens and reporting to the Head of HRIS, you will lead and deliver key initiatives across our HR systems, payroll and digital landscape. The position is expected to start as soon as possible from 1st December 2026.

This is a high-impact, hands-on project management role at the intersection of HR operations, payroll, HR technology and digital transformation, offering significant exposure to international stakeholders.

You will take ownership of a portfolio of projects and operational improvements, ensuring reliable day-to-day services while driving the evolution of our HRIS and payroll environment.

Success in this role requires strong project leadership, sound judgement and the ability to balance operational priorities with the delivery of wider HR transformation programmes.

You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Leading end-to-end HRIS, time and absence, payroll and digital projects, including scoping, planning, governance, system enhancements, integrations and new entity onboarding, with clear accountability for timelines, risks, testing, user acceptance, change readiness and successful implementation.
  • Managing the continuous improvement and effective use of HRIS solutions across multiple countries, including Workday (core HR system) and Protime (absence management), while coordinating user support, issue resolution, vendor follow-up and service performance.
  • Owning HR data quality and governance across HR, payroll, time and absence systems, establishing robust controls and supporting secure, efficient and automated data flows throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Driving the HR digital roadmap, together with the Head of HRIS by identifying and delivering opportunities to use data, automation and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools where appropriate, to improve reporting, streamline processes and support decision-making. You will translate business needs into practical solutions, promote user adoption and collaborate with stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Risk, Compliance and external providers.
  • Developing and maintaining the HR data governance framework, including an HR data dictionary covering payroll, time, absence and core HR data, with clear ownership, definitions and consistent use across systems and countries.
  • Overseeing payroll operations, group provider governance and first-line controls across multiple countries, working with payroll providers and local teams to monitor monthly cycles, resolve escalations and ensure service continuity. This includes defining and monitoring KPIs, executing controls, managing risks and supporting audit, security and compliance requirements.

Your profile

  • At least 5 years' experience delivering complex projects in HRIS, payroll, digital transformation, business analysis or a related technology environment, including significant experience within HR and demonstrable end-to-end project ownership.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, manage plans, budgets, risks, dependencies and external providers, and deliver measurable outcomes while maintaining a hands-on approach to business-as-usual activities.
  • Strong analytical and digital capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data, challenge existing processes, build business cases and translate insights into practical solutions.
  • Fluent in English and French, with excellent communication, facilitation and change management skills and the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management, influencing, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills in international, cross-functional environments.
  • Pragmatic, accountable and delivery-focused, with the confidence to make decisions, manage competing priorities and drive initiatives to completion.

Preferred

  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and end-to-end HR processes, ideally including Workday, time and absence solutions, recruitment, onboarding, payroll and talent management.
  • Experience of multi-country payroll operations, provider governance, controls, HR data governance and regulatory or audit requirements within a complex organisation.
  • Understanding of APIs, data migration, system integrations, automation and emerging digital technologies within HR environments.
