The HRIS Analyst partners closely with HR, Leaders, and IT to translate business needs into effective system solutions. While this role does not carry senior‑level ownership, it requires strong technical configuration skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions to support system stability, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Configuration & Support

  • Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM, including business processes, workflows, condition rules, validations, and security roles

  • Provide day‑to‑day HRIS support and troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution of system issues

  • Support Workday releases by testing functionality, assessing impacts, and assisting with deployment activities

  • Conduct regular audits and data reviews to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance

Partnership & Delivery

  • Partner with HR stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into scalable Workday solutions

  • Collaborate with IT on integrations, data flows, and system stability

  • Participate in cross‑functional projects, providing HRIS expertise and configuration support

  • Contribute to backlog management by identifying enhancements, defects, and optimization opportunities

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Support continuous improvement efforts across HR systems, processes, and user experience

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, job aids, and process guides

  • Assist with user training and adoption efforts to promote effective use of Workday

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain standard and ad‑hoc Workday reports to support business and compliance needs

  • Provide analytical support to HR partners as needed

  • Take on additional responsibilities as the HR systems landscape evolves

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience working with HRIS/HCM systems

  • Hands‑on Workday configuration experience (Core HCM required)

  • Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, or process improvements

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of HRIS experience with a strong focus on Workday

  • Exposure to additional Workday modules (e.g., Compensation, Learning, Talent & Performance)

  • Experience supporting HR processes such as employee lifecycle events, job changes, or compensation cycles

  • Experience working in a matrixed or evolving organization

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Ability to translate business requirements into system configuration

  • Collaborative, customer‑focused approach to problem solving

  • Comfortable working through ambiguity with guidance and support

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio

  • Strong Excel skills (advanced preferred)
