Job Description

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the administration, optimization, and ongoing support of UKG.

This role has primary ownership of HR system integrations, data interfaces, and acquisitions onboarding. The

HRIS Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient data flow between UKG and internal or third-

party systems while supporting user roles, permissions, security protocols, and scalable HR technology

solutions across multiple entities. This position serves as a key resource for UKG system administration and

must maintain a strong understanding of UKG business rules, configuration, workflows, and system

functionality to support organizational needs and ensure consistency across the enterprise.

This role is critical in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment with significant acquisition activity, where strong

analytical skills, technical expertise, attention to detail, and process standardization are essential.

KEY DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for UKG system setup, integrations, business rules, workflows, and processes.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Benefits, vendors, and business leaders to ensure accurate and efficient system connectivity and data flow.
  • Collaborate closely with M&A and HR leadership teams to support pre-close due diligence and post- close integration planning.
  • Lead UKG integration activities for mergers and acquisitions, including system assessments, data mapping, migration planning, testing, validation, and post-implementation support.
  • Provide training and support to HR users and field leaders’ post-integration.
  • Configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations between UKG and internal or third- party systems.
  • Manage system configuration, testing, implementation, and optimization of UKG modules and related HR technology platforms.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of UKG business rules, system configuration, workflows, and downstream impacts to ensure system consistency and operational effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot system defects, integration failures, interface issues, and data discrepancies, partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Support user security administration, role configuration, permissions management, and security protocols while maintaining appropriate segregation of duties and data access controls.
  • Support payroll-related system processes including payroll interfaces, GL exports, labor allocations, account mapping, and reporting requirements.
  • Partner with Payroll and Finance to validate payroll-related reporting, general ledger outputs, costing structures, and system configurations impacting financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, integration specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, business rules, and job aids for system configuration, integrations, and ongoing support.

  • None

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or related field – or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of HCM system experience, including at least 2 years with UKG (Core HR, Benefits Admin, or WFM modules).
  • Experience leading HR system implementations, data migrations, and integrations.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and a strong focus on data integrity.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • UKG Pro (Core), Benefits Admin, or WFM certification.
  • Experience working in a multi-entity or shared-services HR environment
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, data visualization, or advanced analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with M&A environments, including integrating decentralized HR systems and processes.
  • Experience with change management and user training.

The employee is occasionally required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Standard office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is minimal
