Belden has recently implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as our global HR master data system. We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient HR Technology Configuration Specialist – SuccessFactors to join our HR Technology team. This role will be pivotal in architecting, configuring, and integrating our Employee Central solution across various SuccessFactors modules, establishing technical best practices, improving reporting capabilities, and providing leadership for future team growth.

Key Responsibilities:

SuccessFactors Configuration & Support

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize SuccessFactors Employee Central and Recruiting modules, including:
    • Business rules, workflows, and role-based permissions
    • Data models (HRIS, foundation objects, MDF objects)
    • Templates, forms, and fields
  • Support system changes across the employee lifecycle (hire to retire), including hiring, job changes, terminations, and organizational updates.
  • Configure Recruiting components such as job requisitions, job application templates, candidate profiles, offer letters, and interview workflows.

Business Partnership & Requirements Translation

  • Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll teams to gather and translate business requirements into system solutions.
  • Recommend best-practice configurations aligned with SuccessFactors roadmap and SAP standards
  • Support process improvements and automation opportunities within EC and Recruiting.

Data Integrity, Testing & Releases

  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance through regular audits and validation.
  • Execute system testing (unit, regression, UAT) for configuration changes, quarterly releases, and new functionality.
  • Support deployment of system updates and enhancements, including release management and documentation.

Documentation & End-User Support

  • Maintain configuration documentation, process guides, and change logs.
  • Provide global system support and troubleshoot configuration-related issues.
  • Support training efforts for HR and Recruiting users as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience configuring SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and/or Succession planning/Development.
  • Strong understanding of HR and Talent Acquisition processes.
  • Experience with role-based permissions, workflows, business rules, and MDF objects.
  • Familiarity with integrations, APIs, or middleware (e.g., CPI).
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical configurations.
