HRIS Access Management & RBP Lead - Porto (Híbrido - 2x office)

Our client is undergoing a major digital transformation and growth program, with Human Resources playing a central role. As part of this journey, a global HRIS landscape is being implemented across all countries and employees.

The HRIS Access Management & RBP Lead will play a critical role in defining and governing access management and security within the HRIS ecosystem, ensuring that data protection, compliance, and role-based access are properly designed and maintained across the organization.

Mission

Reporting to the HR Program Director, this role is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and governance of Role-Based Permissions (RBP) and access management, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable HRIS operations.

Key Responsibilities

RBP Design & Implementation

  • Define and design the global RBP strategy and governance framework
  • Design role hierarchies, permission groups, and target populations within the HRIS
  • Build and maintain role matrices aligned with organizational structures
  • Collaborate with functional leads to validate access requirements across modules (e.g., Core HR, Recruiting, Performance, Compensation)

Security Configuration & Governance

  • Configure and manage Role-Based Permissions (RBP) based on approved designs
  • Maintain a scalable, auditable, and consistent security framework
  • Ensure segregation of duties (SoD) and least-privilege principles
  • Collaborate with IT and data privacy teams to ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, audit standards)

Access Control Management

  • Manage access provisioning and de-provisioning processes
  • Support periodic user access reviews and certifications
  • Ensure access changes follow proper governance, approvals, and documentation

Testing & Configuration

  • Define and execute security testing strategies (unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression)
  • Validate correct functioning of roles and permissions across modules
  • Support issue resolution related to access and security during testing cycles

Project Collaboration & Documentation

  • Act as the primary security point of contact within the HRIS program
  • Support country stakeholders and system administrators on role design and access needs
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of roles, configurations, and decisions
  • Contribute to training materials and user guidance related to access and security

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in HRIS projects, particularly in Core HR within a global environment
  • Proven experience in SAP SuccessFactors RBP configuration and security management
  • Experience in HRIS implementation projects (build and/or run), either in consulting or in-house
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
    • Information Technology
    • Human Resources
    • Business Administration
    • Finance or similar
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
  • Previous operational HR experience in Core HR is a plus

Key Skills

  • Strong expertise in Role-Based Permissions (RBP) and access management within HR systems
  • Solid understanding of HRIS modules and cross-functional access dependencies
  • Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and IT security best practices (e.g., GDPR, audit readiness)
  • Experience with security governance and access control frameworks
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in international and complex environments
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across cross-functional teams
  • Customer-oriented mindset with adaptability and flexibility
  • Fluent in English
