Job Description

The position holder is primarily responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, coordinating onboarding activities, identifying talent needs, and supporting the planning and delivery of employee training programs. The role will also provide general HR/Admin support as and when required.

What You Can Expect of the Job

  • Talent Acquisition
  • You’ll manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job requisition and sourcing to selection, offer management and onboarding.
  • You’ll work closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and develop appropriate recruitment strategies.
  • You’ll source candidates through job portals, social media, recruitment agencies, referrals and other channels.
  • You’ll screen resumes, conduct initial interviews and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • You’ll prepare job descriptions and job advertisements for vacant positions.
  • You’ll coordinate pre-employment checks, reference checks and employment documentation.
  • You’ll monitor recruitment progress and provide regular updates to management.
  • You’ll act as a representative of company by participating in career fairs.
  • You’ll coordinate the onboarding and orientation process for new employees.
  • You’ll ensure new hires receive the necessary documentation, resources and introductions to support a smooth transition.
  • Training & Development
  • You’ll identify training and development needs in consultation with department heads and employees.
  • You’ll coordinate the annual training calendar and training schedules.
  • You’ll organise internal and external training programs, workshops and employee development initiatives.
  • You’ll liaise with external training providers, trainers and relevant government agencies where applicable.
  • You’ll manage training registrations, attendance, documentation and post-training evaluations.
  • You’ll maintain accurate training records and monitor employee training completion.
  • You’ll assist in evaluating training effectiveness and gathering feedback from participants.
  • You’ll support employee development and learning initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What We Expect of You

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with hands-on recruitment and training experience.
  • Applicants without relevant qualifications should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of employment law and legislative requirements.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees and candidates at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS office products, e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and may require working beyond office hours if situation dictates.
  • Willingness to have a ‘service’ attitude whilst attending to staff’s issue.
  • Will be required to attend/support meetings, conferences, seminars and company functions.
