Job Description

Job Purpose

The HR Trainee will support a wide range of HR functions, including administrative tasks, training and development initiatives, and other day-to-day operations for Mauritius and Mayotte.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Administer overtime records and ensure they are processed accurately and timely.
  • Provide backup support for reception duties when required.
  • Assist in processing PRFs (Payment Request Forms) and other payments.
  • Follow up on competency training programs to ensure they are completed within the agreed timeframe, with a special focus on HSSEQ (Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality) training for Mauritius and Mayotte.
  • Assist in the follow-up of actions arising from people review processes.
  • Provide administrative support for HR operations in Mayotte, including the maintenance of policies and document filing systems (online).
  • Support the review and standardization of the onboarding process for employees in Mauritius and Mayotte.

Requirements

  • Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or any related field.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Computer proficiency and willingness to learn specialized software.
