A Day in the Life

The HR Support II (Interview Scheduling) role works to facilitate interview scheduling for both internal and external candidates located in the US, Canada and PR. The team operates as a part of the TA Operations area in Medtronic, and it’s main goal is to deliver key support to both hiring managers and recruiters by ensuring that Interviews, travel arrangements and candidate expenses reimbursements are processed within the expected SLA’s and under the standard practices agreed. This will be a hybrid model role in Bogota. Colombia.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Schedule candidate interviews including onsite, onsite with travel, virtual, and phone formats
  • Coordinate end-to-end interview logistics, including conference rooms and catering (if applicable)
  • Manage candidate communications, including welcome emails and scheduling confirmations
  • Gather, review, and distribute required documentation for interview processes
  • Arrange travel logistics, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation
  • Coordinate and schedule pre-brief and debrief meetings with interview panels
  • Manage candidate reimbursement processes and ensure timely submission through expense systems (e.g., Concur)
  • Act as primary point of contact for recruiters and hiring managers throughout the scheduling lifecycle

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (1 year or less since graduation)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines within SLA-driven environments
  • Fluent in English (professional level)
  • Proactive and problem solving oriented
  • MS Office Suite knowledge
