The MYHR Specialist provides comprehensive support across all areas of Human Resources, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Employee Services, and HR Operations. Serving as a primary resource for employees, leaders, candidates, and external partners, this role delivers exceptional customer service while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The MYHR Specialist supports daily HR operations, maintains employee records and systems, and contributes to an exceptional employee experience that reflects and promotes UC Health's PRIIDE Core Values.

Part-Time PRN Schedule: Expected schedule is 20 hours per week (4 hours on Friday, 8 hours on Saturday, and 8 hours on Sunday). Consistent hours are anticipated during our peak season, October through December. After December 31, hours are available on an as-needed basis and may vary depending on business needs.

Remote Position: Work is performed remotely in OH, IN, or KY. Candidates must be able to travel onsite for equipment pickup, training, or other occasional business needs.

MYHR Support

  • Administers HR service delivery through multiple channels, including phone, email, and case management systems. Resolves inquiries related to employee relations, benefits, payroll, onboarding, HR policies, and other HR programs; manages escalated cases; and ensures compliance with service level expectations, documentation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Serves as an ambassador for the Human Resources department by delivering exceptional customer service and promoting UC Health's PRIIDE Core Values, policies, procedures, and commitment to employee experience.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves employee concerns and complex HR inquiries through effective communication, critical thinking, and collaboration with internal stakeholders, leaders, and external partners.
  • Maintains accurate and complete case documentation, employee records, and tracking systems while ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
  • Monitors service requests and case queues to ensure timely resolution, appropriate escalation, and adherence to established service standards and performance metrics.
  • Participates in departmental meetings, huddles, training sessions, and committees as assigned, contributing to process improvement initiatives and organizational goals.
  • Serves as a primary resource for employees and managers by addressing inquiries and providing support related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, onboarding, employee programs, and organizational procedures, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

Total Rewards

  • Provide benefits information and education to candidates and employees during onboarding, Work Life Events (WLEs), and Open Enrollment periods.
  • Assist with communication and information exchange between employees, insurance providers, and third-party administrators regarding eligibility, scheduling, and benefit-related matters.
  • Respond to routine employee and manager inquiries regarding benefit programs and processes.
  • Maintain a general understanding of UC Health compensation and pay practices to support employee questions and direct complex issues appropriately.

Recognition, Events, & Special Services

  • Compile data, generate reports, and provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.
  • Support special departmental projects and process improvement efforts as assigned.
  • Support compliance with Joint Commission standards and assist with survey preparation and related activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of administrative, customer service, healthcare support, or office experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Previous Human Resources, recruiting, onboarding, employee services, or healthcare administrative experience.
  • Experience working with HRIS, or other HR-related software.
  • Knowledge of employment practices, benefits administration, and onboarding processes.
  • Experience supporting customer service-focused environments and interacting with diverse employee populations.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and advance within the Human Resources profession and/or healthcare industry.
