Responsibilities:
Ensure real-time recruitment of high-caliber talent to support business performance and secure critical skills across all departments.
Lead the full recruitment cycle for national employees, from workforce planning to onboarding.
Collaborate with department heads to anticipate staffing needs, plan recruitment activities, and ensure alignment with operational requirements.
Develop and maintain strong talent pools for hard-to-fill and critical positions.
Implement best practices in sourcing, screening, interviews, screening, and bid management.
Ensure that recruitment processes are fair, transparent and comply with Barrick and KGM standards.
Ensure effective communication with all candidates and new hires, ensuring a professional and smooth experience.
Ensure that structured onboarding and onboarding programs are properly executed and continuously improved.
Ensure the accurate application of HR policies, procedures and disciplinary processes for national employees.
Ensure that day-to-day HR operations and recruitment activities are aligned with HR strategy, company values, and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate and confidential recruitment records, documents and reports.
Provide guidance and support to managers throughout the recruitment process, ensuring compliance and consistency in hiring decisions.
Work closely with the Talent & IR Superintendent on all strategic and operational matters related to recruitment.
Act as a trusted HR partner by providing market analysis, talent availability trends, and recommendations for improvement.
Prepare accurate recruitment dashboards, metrics, and progress reports, on a weekly and monthly basis.
Track KPIs such as time to hire, cost per hire, recruitment cycle efficiency, and quality of hiring.
Identify gaps and implement data-driven process improvements.
Contribute to the strengthening of Kibali's employer brand through proactive community engagement, job fairs, and partnerships with local academic institutions.
Promote inclusion, diversity and equal opportunities throughout the recruitment process.
Propose and implement innovative sourcing strategies, digital tools, and recruitment technologies to improve efficiency.
Ensure that all recruitment records, employee files and contractor documentation are properly completed, updated and auditable.
Maintain and update recruitment databases and HRIS tools with high accuracy.
Align with the principles of ISO 30415 diversity and inclusion, applied to all our processes, including recruitment.
Work in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards
Qualifications:
Certifications in international mobility, compensation and benefits, or employment law are assets.
MBA (Master of Business Administration), MSc in Human Resources, International Business / Global Management
Experience and Skills Requirements:
3 to 5 years in recruitment or talent acquisition roles.
Solid knowledge of construction processes and project management
Proficiency in reading technical documents and specifications
Proficiency in HRIS, ATS (Applicant Tracking System), LinkedIn and other job portals.
Exposure to the entire recruitment process: job posting, sourcing, interviews, onboarding.
Ability to maintain documentation that complies with legal and audit requirements
