Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven HR professional to independently lead and execute HR initiatives across India. In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders, manage complex employee lifecycle processes, and help shape people strategies that support business growth in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The HR Partner will support multiple business units across Teradyne India, including the Semiconductor Test Group, Product Test Group, and Robotics Group, serving as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees alike.

As India continues to be a key growth market for Teradyne, this role will play a critical part in supporting rapid organizational expansion, workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement, and HR operational excellence. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping to drive people strategies that enable business growth while ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and company policies.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a trusted HR advisor to leaders across India, balancing compliance, business priorities, and employee advocacy.
  • Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and employee engagement programs.
  • Ensure HR policies, processes, and programs comply with local labor laws in India.
  • Support India's continued growth by driving organizational expansion, talent development, and change management initiatives.
  • Coach and advise managers on performance management, employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Partner with payroll and benefits providers to ensure accurate and competitive compensation and benefits practices.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity (SAP SuccessFactors) and leverage insights to inform workforce planning and decision-making.
  • Lead and participate in regional and global HR projects, process improvement initiatives, and organizational development programs as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of progressive HR generalist experience, preferably within multinational organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing recruitment activities across multiple functions, including talent attraction, candidate assessment, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting business leaders in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian employment legislation, labor laws, and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR systems; SAP SuccessFactors experience is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
