UCT is looking for a talented HR Ops Specialist to join us in Philippines!
The HR Solutions Center (HRSC) Specialist serves as a key member of the HR Solutions Center team, providing high-quality operational support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee inquiries, HR transactions, documentation, compliance, reporting, and HR administration. This role acts as the primary point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring accurate data management, timely issue resolution, adherence to company policies and local regulations, and a seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers, responding to HR inquiries through People Assist (case management system), email, and other support channels.
- Process employee lifecycle transactions, including hiring, onboarding, transfers, promotions, reporting and organizational changes, shift changes, leaves of absence, employment confirmations, and terminations.
- Prepare and maintain employment documentation, including employment letters, certifications, contract renewals, personnel files, and employee records.
- Manage and resolve HR cases in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems, including UKG Pro, Time Software, Sprout HR and other HR platforms.
- Support work permit, employment pass, visa, and immigration-related processes, including transactions within government portals such as Singapore's Ministry of Manpower (MOM) system, where applicable.
- Coordinate employee compliance requirements, including mandatory training, medical examinations, and supporting documentation.
- Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Centers of
- Excellence (COEs) to address employee inquiries and ensure seamless HR service delivery.
- Support compliance with local labor laws, company policies, internal controls, and HR procedures across the region.
- Administer timekeeping, attendance, and workforce management processes using UKG Pro, Time Software, and related systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance employee experience, and drive operational excellence within the HR Solutions Center.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and HRIS systems, preferably UKG Pro & Times Soft.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations, processes, and systems, including work permits, S Passes, Employment Passes, renewals, compliance requirements, and workforce administration.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
- Fluent verbal and written English communication skill is required.
- Mandarin fluency is required for China-based roles and strongly preferred for roles supporting Mandarin-speaking employee populations.
- Additional multilingual capabilities relevant to the local market are highly preferred
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
E xperience Requirement:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, Human Resources Administration, or a related HR support role.
- Experience supporting employees in a multinational or shared services environment.
- Experience with case management tools and HRIS platforms.
