About This Role

The HR Operations Specialist plays a key role in delivering a seamless employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. As part of the HR Operations team, this role manages onboarding, ongoing lifecycle administration, and offboarding while ensuring full compliance with Spanish labor regulations. The specialist collaborates closely with Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and other internal stakeholders, leveraging tools such as Workday and ServiceNow to maintain accurate employee data, resolve queries, and uphold high standards of operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee data changes, and offboarding processes.

  • Resolve employee queries through the ticketing system, ensuring timely, accurate, and service-oriented follow-up.

  • Prepare and validate payroll inputs in alignment with Spanish payroll requirements and internal controls.

  • Administer employee benefits and partner with external vendors to manage service delivery and escalations.

  • Prepare, review and issue employment-related documentation (e.g., contracts, letters, addendums, etc.) in compliance with local legal, regulatory and language requirements

  • Maintain accurate records in the HRIS (Workday).

  • Manage Social Security documentation in accordance with Spanish labor legislation.

  • Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of internal HR policies, procedures, and knowledge bases.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Who You Are

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.

  • Experience within the Spanish market, strong understanding of HR operations and an interest in core HR topics such as employment law, benefits, and payroll.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, operational environment.

  • Experience using HR systems (preferably Workday) and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, optimize, and document processes.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
