
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Operations Generalist to support HR and office operations in Portugal. This role combines hands-on HR administration responsibilities with broader operational and office support tasks in a dynamic and international environment.
You will play an important role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, accurate HR processes, and a positive employee experience.
Ensure efficient and compliant HR and office operations by supporting employee lifecycle processes, payroll coordination, administrative workflows, and local office management activities.
•Manage HR administration activities including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and employee documentation
•Support payroll and benefits coordination with external providers
•Maintain and update employee records and HR systems (Personio)
•Handle leave administration, reimbursements, and operational HR support tasks
•Support office operations including suppliers, facilities, and administrative coordination
•Track invoices, expenses, and other office-related administrative processes
•Act as a first point of contact for employees regarding HR and office-related questions
•Support internal processes, compliance activities, and team engagement initiatives
•1–4 years of experience in HR administration, HR operations, or office operations roles
•Exposure to payroll coordination, contracts, and employee administration
•Strong attention to detail and structured way of working
•Comfortable handling operational and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
•Experience with HR systems (e.g. Personio) and good Excel skills
•Strong communication skills in English (mandatory)
•Proactive, reliable, and service-oriented mindset
•Experience in an international or multi-country environment is a plus
