We now have a rare opportunity for a talented HR Operations specialist with a passion for process and data to join our HR Ops team here in our Sydney office (Pyrmont).

Enough about us! What you’ll do as an HR Operations Analyst:

This role involves providing HR analysis and support to employees in APAC by addressing queries related to HR processes across the employee life cycle. It serves as a point of escalation for issue resolution, leveraging ServiceNow ant other tools to track and manage employee concerns while coordinating with various teams across Paramount.

Functions will also include:

  • Addressing employee queries and resolving complex HR-related issues with expertise, serving as a secondary escalation point for employee matters leveraging in-depth HR knowledge.
  • Tracking SLAs and managing employee concerns through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Providing the HR team with reports and data analysis on a recurring basis, plus upon request.
  • Completing regular internal audits on HR systems while supporting ad-hoc external audits through in-depth data analysis.
  • Providing recommendations on how to fix identified issues in HR systems (currently SuccessFactors/ADP) and working with internal teams and system providers to resolve them.
  • Overseeing the coordination of key employee transitions (e.g. onboarding) and cyclical processes across the employee life cycle, ensuring a seamless integration experience.
  • Ownership of the time and absence system (ADP Workforce Manager [WFM]), including overseeing submissions and providing advanced support for payroll queries.
  • Analysing ServiceNow data to identify trends and implement strategies for enhancing efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Closely supporting the Director of HR Operations APAC in various projects and stepping in to push key initiatives forward if necessary.
  • Assisting with driving initiatives set as part of HR Operations’ roadmap/priorities at Paramount.
  • Coaching coordinators to uplift capability in process/knowledge while keeping process documentation current to improve information retention in the team.

What are we looking for in an HR Operations Analyst? What’s important?

  • In a nutshell, someone who loves HR Operations, working with HR data, improving systems & processes, and providing great support to people across the business
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience (3-5 years) in HR Operations with tasks involving analytics, ER, comp & bens, etc
  • Solid payroll exposure including knowledge of payroll processing and addressing payroll-related queries
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, with key focus on Excel
  • Experience with core HR systems such as SuccessFactors, ADP WFM, including identifying and troubleshooting system issues
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements
  • Proven experience in analysing HR data and presenting findings in a clear and engaging manner
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees, management and external stakeholders
  • High level of attention to detail and handling confidential information
  • Ability to calmly and confidently multi-task, prioritise responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to play well with others and enjoy a collaborative team environment
  • Proactive and curious in identifying HR-related issues and opportunities for improvements
