Accountable for benefit payment processing, as well as completing pay, time and benefit administrative tasks in various human resource systems that are time driven and confidential. Provide guidance and answering inquiries from staff and managers on Yale's benefits, including pay and time. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external staff and faculty.
Required Skills and Abilities
1. Demonstrated ability and experience in completing transactional tasks related to benefits, benefit payments, pay, and time.
2. Demonstrated ability to work under pay driven deadlines.
3. Proven ability to complete mathematical computation.
4. Prior experience working with sensitive and confidential data in multiple systems to determine root cause and solving inquiries.
5. Working knowledge of HCM (Workday) and Salesforce CRM in a shared service environment.
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills
Experience with Salesforce, Workday, and document management systems, in an operational perspective. Background in Human Resource Operations and systems.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Serves as a principle source of information to clients who have business with or interest in the units. 2. Serves as a principle source of information on specialized techniques and equipment problems. May perform a range of technical functions. 3. Explains and demonstrates use of electronic security processes to students, staff, faculty, and visitors. 4. Explains and describes use of specialized computerized digital conversion systems, scanners, imaging and camera equipment. 5. Operates computerized security programs, systems and camera equipment. 6. Reviews records for accuracy and reporting. Prepares reports. Determines methods and materials for production. 7. Reviews unit products for accuracy and completeness. 8. Collects, compiles and evaluates time and production data. Prepares reports. 9. Performs technical functions incidental to access control and security systems. 10. May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
Six years of related work experience, four of them in the same job family at the next lower level, and high school level education; or four years of related work experience and an Associate's degree; or little or no work experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
