Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination of the entire onboarding process for new home healthcare hires.
  • Assist with preparing for new hire orientations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and expectations.
  • Arrange necessary training sessions and introductions to relevant team members to expedite acclimatization to the human resources environment.
  • Provide support and guidance to new hires during their initial days, ensuring a seamless transition into their roles.
  • Collaborate with various HR departments to streamline the onboarding process and continuously improve its efficiency.
  • Ensure that onboarding procedures align with legal requirements, including employment contracts, tax forms, work permits, and other mandatory documents.
  • Develop, review, and update onboarding policies and procedures to align with the organization's standards and industry best practices.
  • Communicate policies and procedures clearly to new hires, ensuring their understanding and compliance.
  • Safeguard sensitive employee information and ensure compliance with data privacy laws, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) as applicable.
  • Implement secure data handling practices during the onboarding process, including consent forms and privacy notices.
  • Oversee the verification of employment, certifications, and relevant background checks, pre-employment drug screenings, and TB test screenings for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all onboarding documentation, ensuring accessibility, completeness, and compliance with record-keeping laws and regulations.
  • Gather feedback from new hires regarding the onboarding process to identify areas for improvement and enhance compliance-related components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and continuously enhance the onboarding process to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Gather and organize all necessary equipment required for new hires, such as technology, badges, and relevant documents.
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure timely delivery and setup of equipment at the new hires' designated locations.
  • Assemble welcome packages for new hires, incorporating promotional materials, welcome notes, and any other relevant items to enhance the onboarding experience.
  • Customize welcome packages by discipline, fostering a sense of excitement and belonging among new team members.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proven experience in HR, onboarding, or related roles.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Familiarity with human resources processes and technology is a plus.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for efficient tracking and management
