Make your mark as HR Officer at Smit Lamnalco!
As a HR Officer, you are a key member of the HR team and take ownership of the day-to-day HR operations. This is a broad, hands-on role for an experienced HR professional who is proactive, highly organized, accurate, and able to work independently in a dynamic international environment.
Based at our Head Office in Papendrecht, you support the Global HR Manager and the HR Manager Africa/Europe. Your scope includes the global organization, the international HQ population (approximately 65 employees), expatriates working worldwide, and providing support to HR colleagues in our regional offices.
You are hands-on responsible for ensuring that HR administration, payroll preparation, employee benefits administration, and HR processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and employment regulations. In addition, you act as a trusted point of contact for employees, managers, and external service providers and play an important role in maintaining and improving HR processes, systems, and data quality across the organization.
With your strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and structured approach, you ensure that HR operations run smoothly while continuously looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
