The Role:

We are seeking
an organized and service-minded HR & Plant Administrative Coordinator to
support Human Resources and the day-to-day administrative needs of our LaVergne
facility. This full-time, on-site, non-exempt role will support recruiting,
onboarding, employee records, plant scheduling and communications, and general
office coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and
trusted to handle confidential information with sound judgment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee, I-9, training, and other HR records using consistent electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, pre-employment activities, and new-hire orientation logistics.
  • Maintain recruiting, onboarding, training, and other administrative trackers; prepare routine reports and update HR systems as assigned.
  • Maintain the master plant calendar for meetings, training, employee events, audits, visits, tours, and other key activities.
  • Retrieve and distribute mail; coordinate meeting rooms, visitors, office supplies, HR materials, and approved purchases.
  • Support employee engagement events, recognition activities, required training, bulletin boards, and plant communications.
  • Prepare routine HR letters, forms, packets, and rosters using approved templates and provide administrative backup for timekeeping or payroll as assigned.
  • Respond to employee, candidate, and leader questions professionally and route matters to the appropriate HR, Safety, payroll, benefits, or operational contact.
  • Perform other administrative assignments consistent with the purpose and level of the position.

Our Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or HR/business coursework preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of administrative, HR, recruiting, customer service, or office coordination experience.
  • Administrative and/or coordinator experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume hourly environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage competing priorities.
    Professional phone, email, and in-person communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and shared calendars; experience with ADP, Cornerstone, an ATS, HRIS, or LMS is preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site and periodically enter production or warehouse areas while following applicable PPE and safety requirements.
