To support our business objectives and the continued evolution of manufacturing in the region, we are looking for an HR leader who can combine strategic business partnering with strong execution in a complex, multi-site industrial environment.

Role purpose

The HR leader will act as a trusted partner to the manufacturing/plant leadership team. The role will operate from one of the Group’s manufacturing sites in the region, while ensuring a broad view of the multi-site industrial perimeter. The role will translate business and industrial priorities into effective workforce, organization and people actions, while ensuring consistent HR practices, constructive employee and industrial relations, regulatory compliance and a strong employee experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to operate in line with global guidelines while remaining close to plant reality, anticipating workforce needs, enabling organizational change and developing the capabilities required to sustain safety, quality, productivity, innovation and long-term competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

Business partnering and organization

• Partner with Operations and plant leadership to understand business priorities and convert them into an integrated HR agenda.
• Advise leaders on organization design, workforce planning, productivity, skills and people implications of industrial and business decisions.
• Support organizational transformation, technology adoption and change initiatives, ensuring clear communication, leadership alignment and employee involvement.
• Promote a high-performance, accountable and inclusive culture aligned with Ariston Group values and expected leadership behaviors.

Workforce, talent and capability

• Lead workforce planning across the manufacturing site, balancing current operational requirements with future capability needs.
• Coordinate recruitment priorities with Talent Acquisition, ensuring timely hiring for both blue-collar and white-collar positions and a consistent candidate experience.
• Build plant and regional capability plans through skills assessment, upskilling, reskilling, technical training and leadership development.
• Support internal mobility and cross-site collaboration to strengthen the talent pipeline and retain critical know-how.

Employee and industrial relations

• Lead and coordinate industrial relations, building constructive, transparent and sustainable relationships with trade unions and employee representatives.
• Ensure compliance with Italian labour law, collective agreements, company policies and local procedures, in partnership with HR Administration, Legal and relevant experts.
• Guide the plant management on employee relations, disciplinary matters, attendance, grievances and other sensitive people topics, applying consistent and fair approaches.
• Anticipate labour-relations risks and define appropriate engagement and negotiation strategies in line with business priorities.

HR operations, analytics and continuous improvement

• Ensure consistent deployment of Group HR processes and policies across the site, adapting execution to the manufacturing context where appropriate.
• Own manufacturing HR dashboards and provide actionable insights on headcount, labour cost, overtime, absenteeism, turnover, injuries, skills, engagement and other relevant people indicators.
• Partner with Finance and Operations on labour-cost planning, forecasting and productivity actions for direct and indirect workforces.
• Contribute to World Class Manufacturing and People Development priorities, including skills matrices, training plans, suggestion systems and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Simplify and digitalize HR processes, improve data quality and promote effective use of Group HR systems and analytics.
• Ensure mandatory training and people-related requirements connected with quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems are properly supported.

Engagement, culture and employee experience

• Strengthen employee listening, engagement and communication, translating feedback into visible and measurable actions.
• Champion inclusion, well-being, sustainability and responsible people practices throughout the regional manufacturing community.

Lean manufacturing

• Lead WCM People Development as Pillar Leader

Experience and qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant HR leadership experience in manufacturing or another complex industrial environment, including responsibility for employee and industrial relations.
• Solid knowledge of Italian labour law, collective bargaining and union relations.
• Demonstrated experience in business partnering, workforce planning, organizational change, talent management and labour-cost management.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing, World Class Manufacturing or comparable continuous-improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical capability and confidence in using HR data and digital tools to support decisions.
• Fluency in Italian and professional proficiency in English.

LOCATION

Marche, Italy

The compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills and the scope of the role, applying objective and gender‑neutral criteria. We believe that transparency and fairness are essential to building trust, fostering inclusion and ensuring equal opportunities for everyone.As a reference, for such position we offer a salary ranging between 52.000 € and 77.000 €. You will also be part of the Ariston Group short-term incentive program. This position is covered by the CCNL Metalmeccanici Industria.
