Job Description

  • Job Title: HR Manager – SCG Vietnam Operation
  • Working Location: Ho Chi Minh City (previously Binh Duong & Dong Nai)
  • Department: Human Resources
  • Reports to: Management Team / Country HR
  • Subordinates: HR team at site(s)

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing, controlling, and continuously improving end-to-end Human Resources processes for manufacturing operations, ensuring effective implementation aligned with business objectives, legal compliance, and SCG HR standards.

Role & Responsibility:

  • Responsible to manage, control and improve end to end HR process to be effectively implemented.
  • Constructive cooperation with operations/ HR teams for frequent communication, alignment, project implementation, and monthly HR controlling reports.
  • Be the main contact point on Human resources related issue and be able to give a consultation or guidelines to management.
  • Provide guidance and advice to managers on HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to support employee engagement, retention, and development.
  • Implement retention strategies to enhance employee satisfaction & minimize staff outflow.
  • Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Manage the recruitment channels to ensure the effectiveness to maximize recruiting efficiency.
  • Proactively anticipate/ identify unresolved items, propose solutions and escalate to the leadership team in a timely manner.
  • Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues, working closely with leaders to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and facilitate communication between employees and leadership during periods of change.
  • Proactively collaborate with other stakeholders across the organization (Country management, Country HRs managers, regional teams, etc) to connect dots and coordinate initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 15 years experience in HR field on manufacturing operations and minimum 7 years on manager role.
  • Proven Strong experience in Compensation and Benefit, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Training Development and Organizational Development.
  • High achievement oriented and be able to work independently to achieve a target from management team.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with foreigner colleague in matrix organization with ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Be able to occasionally travel upcountry or overseas.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership skills and excellent command of English.
