In this role, you will provide HR business partnering, employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, organisational change, and compliance support across your assigned client groups.

You will work closely with leaders, providing practical advice on workforce planning, position design, remuneration, and employment matters to support effective people's decisions.

This is an excellent opportunity to shape a newly created role with regional scope, influence Woolpert’s growth strategy across APAC, and become a trusted advisor to the HR Director.

You will be:

  • Coach managers on employee relations, performance, conduct, feedback and effective management.
  • Support workforce planning, capability and succession planning, position design, organisational structure and change implementation.
  • Provide advice on remuneration reviews, position evaluation, employee benefits, employment legislation, policy and compliance changes.
  • Analyse workforce data to provide clear insights and recommendations on key people’s risks, trends and opportunities.
  • Support HR systems, data quality, process improvement, culture, engagement, inclusion, wellbeing, and return-to-work activities where required.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist, providing workforce planning, position design, remuneration and employment advice to support recruitment activity.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum 6 years’ relevant HR experience, including substantial HR generalist or business partnering experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Strong HR business partnering, coaching and stakeholder management skills, with sound judgement and the ability to influence effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, workforce planning, organisational change, and talent processes.
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation, contemporary HR practice, and the ability to manage priorities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • High level of discretion, integrity and confidence in handling sensitive information, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • AHRI, CIPD or equivalent HR certification, training in workplace investigations, mediation, coaching or change management, and experience in architecture, infrastructure or geospatial industry would be well regarded.

With this role, the successful candidate must successfully pass pre-employment police background check as a condition of employment.

As part of Woolpert you will also have the following benefits:

  • Woolpert’s Principal Program gives employees the opportunity to become company stakeholders and share in the company’s growth and success.
  • Employees receive automatic Salary Continuance Insurance provided by Woolpert.
  • Novated leasing and salary sacrifice options are available to help employees make the most of their income.
  • Discounted corporate health insurance through Bupa.
