Our Human Resources Manager directly manages all functions of Human Resources which include but are not limited to recruiting, hiring, training, retaining, and separation of employment procedures. Administer all unemployment, worker’s compensation, and legal issues in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

About the Job

• Manage the maintenance all new hires, salary changes, separations, etc.
• Maintain associate profiles and data in human resources information system (HRIS).
• Assist HR Shared Services in administering all health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
• Administer supplemental benefits programs such as paid time off (PTO), holiday, bonus programs, etc.
• Create and maintain associate retention programs.
• Manage associate unemployment claims.
• Manage worker’s compensation program through insurance captive.
• Maintain associate handbooks, operations manual, job descriptions, etc.
• Maintain active knowledge of legal requirements for payroll, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, EEO, and all other applicable laws.
• Establish good working relationships with property managers.
• Address payroll and Human Resources issues that arise.
• Manage annual performance review program.
• Manage annual engagement survey program.
• Assist President and Home Office with special projects as assigned/or required.

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources Management, or relevant field of work, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• SHRM certification required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in addition to working with various teams throughout the organization.
• 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources required, and 1-3 years experience in a management role, preferred.
