We are looking for a HR Manager to join our Currys site in Newark. You'll lead a team of HR professionals, partner with operational leaders across multiple sites, and play a key role in delivering a people strategy that drives engagement, performance and business success.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, Trade Union representatives and the wider HR team, you'll provide expert advice on a broad range of people matters while helping to shape a high-performing, inclusive and engaged workplace culture.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 or 09:00 to 17:00. Flexibility is required for this role, with some travel to the Bristol site.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Lead and develop the HR team across Transport, Warehouse and ERDC sites, ensuring the delivery of a consistent, high-quality people service that supports operational and business objectives.
• Partner with senior operational leaders to provide strategic HR guidance, driving workforce planning, organisational effectiveness and a high-performance culture across multiple sites.
• Champion talent management and succession planning initiatives, identifying and developing future leaders to build organisational capability and support long-term business growth.
• Analyse people metrics including headcount, turnover, absence and engagement data to provide insight, influence decision-making and deliver targeted improvement initiatives.
• Drive colleague engagement, communication and development strategies, enhancing employee experience, strengthening leadership capability and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Strong and up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law, including TUPE, redundancy and consultation processes
• Proven HR leadership experience, with the ability to coach, influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills, including experience of working with Trade Union representatives
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex people issues and work effectively under pressure
• CIPD qualified (or working towards qualification) with experience within logistics, distribution, warehousing or other fast-paced operational environments would be desirable, but not essential
