Job Description

Liebherr Indonesia is seeking an experienced and people oriented HR Manager to lead and develop human resources activities. In this role, you will partner with managers and employees to deliver effective HR solutions, strengthen organisational performance and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Your responsibilities

Strategic HR & Compliance

  • Lead, manage and develop the HR team in alignment with business strategy and organisational needs.
  • Partner with Heads of Department to develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives that support overall business objectives.
  • Develop and provide HR metrics and reports to support management decision-making.
  • Prepare and manage the HR budget, including effective resource allocation.
  • Establish, maintain and regularly review company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and regulations

Workforce Planning & Recruitment

  • Partner with Heads of Department, the General Manager and the Board of Directors on workforce planning, organisational design and job descriptions.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process to attract and hire highly qualified talent.
  • Ensure a smooth and effective onboarding process for new employees.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and other third-party vendors.

Performance & Talent Management

  • Collaborate with Liebherr Group Talent Management to establish and implement a performance appraisal system that supports a high-performance culture.
  • Manage and monitor the implementation of the performance appraisal process across the company.
  • Partner with Heads of Department, the General Manager and the Board of Directors on talent calibration, talent-pool development and succession planning

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances and workplace issues.
  • Mediate disputes and support the maintenance of a healthy, productive and respectful work environment.
  • Advise management on disciplinary actions and coordinate relevant disciplinary procedures.
  • Conduct or coordinate internal investigations in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll.
  • Oversee and manage compensation plan and employee benefits programmes.
  • Review and monitor the effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation and benefits programmes.
  • Manage relationships with external payroll, benefits and other compensation-related vendors.

Contributing your strengths

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or Organization Development
  • A minimum of 8 years proven experience in similar role.
  • Leadership - requires a willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction.
  • Integrity - requires being honest and ethical.
  • Good in English both Verbal and Written.
  • Planning/organizing the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
  • Personnel and Human Resources - Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
  • Law and Government - Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations.
  • Dependability the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and feedback to improve performance.
