An exciting opportunity has arisen, for a self-sufficient and experienced HR professional, to take on the move of 45 members of staff from one company to another and, together with the new CEO, source and set up a new office in the Ta 'Xbiex. The company services clients from within the iGaming industry.
As the HR manager, your role will be to set up policies, procedures and HR systems from scratch, and to lay the foundation for an inclusive environment in which the employees will thrive. You will also hire an office admin/HR assistant and mentor manage this person directly.
The salary offered is from €52-65K depending on experience.
Role & Responsibilities
Set up a new company from scratch, including creation of manuals, policies and procedures
"Import" an existing and functional team of 45 members of staff into the new company
Handle the migration of members of staff as smoothly as possible, including change of employer with JobsPlus and for work-permits with ID Malta
Set up recruitment practices and handle the full recruitment cycle
Handle onboarding and offboarding in a professional manner
Maintain HR policies, procedures, and ensure compliance with laws and company standards
Administer employee benefits, payroll processing, and leave management
Plan training and development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement
Maintain accurate HR Systems, HR records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance to applicable legislation
Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on employee relations issues
Lead conflict resolution efforts and provide guidance on disciplinary actions
Drive performance management processes, including goal setting and performance reviews
Organise company events, and team-building activities
Required Education, Skills & Experience
University Graduate
Diploma in HR
4+ years experience in a Senior HR role
Excellent communication skills in English
2+ years experience of working with HR in Malta
Up-to-date with Maltese employment law and HR practices
Payroll management experience
Previous experience of drafting policies and procedures
Management experience
Experience of implementing HR software
Experienced recruiter of office admin & sales professionals
Strong experience of working in iGaming
Available to commence work within 4 weeks of accepting an eventual offer
