Job Description

Fahrenheit Advisors has been retained by our client, Automatic Leasing Service in Richmond, VA, to lead the search for an HR Manager.

Automatic Leasing Service is a Richmond-based, family-owned company that has been serving customers across the Mid-Atlantic since 1956. With more than 70 years in business, Automatic Leasing partners with property managers, apartment communities, colleges and universities, and senior living organizations to provide dependable, high-quality laundry equipment, leasing solutions, and service. The company is known for its strong customer relationships, responsive service model, and long-tenured team members who take pride in delivering dependable solutions day in and day out.

Headquartered in the vibrant Scott’s Addition neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia, Automatic Leasing offers a modern, beautiful office space in one of the city’s most popular and walkable areas. The culture is collaborative and down-to-earth, with a genuine “family company” feel where people know each other, enjoy working together, and are valued for their contributions. With approximately 120 employees, the company is large enough to offer complexity and growth, yet small enough for leaders to make a visible, meaningful impact every day.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who wants to be a trusted advisor to the executive team, shape people practices, and help a strong business continue to grow through thoughtful, people-centered leadership.

The HR Manager is responsible for leading all core human resources functions for Automatic Leasing’s 120-employee workforce. This role serves as a strategic and practical partner to company leadership while remaining closely connected to employees across the organization. The HR Manager will supervise one Recruiter, oversee payroll through an outsourced provider, and ensure that HR programs support compliance, performance, engagement, and business growth.

This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence culture, strengthen leadership capabilities, and serve as the primary resource for employee relations and people strategy.
