Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Human Resource Intern to join the Human Resource team in Singapore. The intern will support employee engagement initiatives, HR communications, recruitment coordination, learning and development activities, HR reporting, and AI-enabled process improvement projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to HR business partnering and people-related initiatives within ENGIE Energy Marketing Singapore.

Main Activities & Key Responsibilities

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including HR events, pulse survey follow-ups, engagement interventions and company-wide communications.
  • Assist in preparing HR dashboards, reports and presentation materials for management review, including headcount, recruitment, learning and engagement updates.
  • Contribute to HR digitalisation and AI-enabled process improvement initiatives by documenting workflows, identifying manual processes and supporting simple automation opportunities.
  • Support recruitment coordination, including candidate screening, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and liaison with hiring managers and recruiters.
  • Support learning and development initiatives, including training coordination, feedback consolidation and vendor liaison where required.
  • Assist with HR policy, process and document updates to ensure information is accurate, well-organised and aligned with internal requirements.
  • Support on other HR projects and activities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Adaptable, meticulous, proactive and eager to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis, reporting or visual presentation would be an advantage.
  • Interest in AI, digital tools and process automation, with curiosity to apply technology to improve HR efficiency and employee experience.
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international and stakeholder-oriented environment.
