Hours: Approximately 10-12 hours per week
Are you interested in building a career in Human Resources? Our Human Resources Internship offers hands-on experience across multiple HR functions while providing valuable opportunities to develop professional skills. This position is ideal for a college student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field who is eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
As an HR Intern, you will partner with the Human Resources team to support day-to-day operations and assist with a variety of administrative, employee-facing, and project-based activities. This role provides practical experience in onboarding, payroll administration, recruitment, internal communications, and employee engagement while offering meaningful opportunities to build a foundation for a future career in HR.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct and coordinate new hire orientations, helping create a positive onboarding experience for new associates.
• Assist with payroll processing by entering payroll-related transactions and maintaining accuracy.
• Manage incoming HR department mail and distribute documents appropriately.
• Respond to associate questions and requests while providing exceptional customer service.
• Support recruiting efforts by posting positions, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Draft and distribute new hire announcements and other internal HR communications.
• Support HR projects related to employee engagement, wellness, training, and organizational development initiatives.
• Help coordinate employee events, recognition programs, and company activities.
• Perform general administrative duties and other HR-related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively with others.
Schedule
This is a internship with flexible scheduling of approximately 15 hours per week until Spring 2027. We understand that academic commitments come first and will work with the selected candidate to create a schedule that supports both their educational and professional development goals.
