Cat Financial supports customers by offering tailored financial products and services such as finance leases, operating leases, and purpose-specific loans. We have a unique structure that enables us to meet specific financing needs for Cat® machinery.

Role Definition:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern who is nearing the completion of their studies and is looking for practical work to complement their studies. The intern will have an opportunity to participate in various HR projects around all HR topics and will have exposure to HR management in Eastern Europe supporting the local HR Generalist in managing employees in 9 countries. There will be HR administration as well as project work covering multiple countries, but also project work for the Europe Africa, Middle East region.

What You Will Do

  • Organize and manage HR files in compliance with local regulations, data privacy and retention schedules
  • Assist in preparing, reviewing and updating HR contracts and documentation
  • Exchange required data and documentation with regional payroll providers
  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of HR processes, policies and procedures
  • Manage regional absence system and other HR systems
  • Support in recruitment projects across Eastern Europe
  • Collaborate with the broader EAME HR team on various strategic and operational projects (i.e. Onboarding, HR Communications, Safety, Compensation & Benefits, Compliance, etc)

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Proactive, communicative with a positive attitude toward work
  • A problem-solver with critical thinking ability
  • An interest and/or understanding of general HR principles
  • Currently pursuing a degree in one of the following fields: Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Sociology (with a focus on work, organizations, or labor), Business Administration (with a demonstrated interest in HR)
  • Fluent both in Polish and English (any other European language would be an asset)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills) and comfortable working with digital tools as well as data analysis

  • Casual contract for 12-14 months with min. 25-30 hours per week

Base Minimum Pay:

zł39,627.00

Please note that salary is only one component of the total compensation and benefit package available at Caterpillar.
