Job Description

At

Booth

, we know that a great company is built on great support. We’re looking for an

HR Intern

who wants to learn the "how" and "why" behind a functioning workplace. You won’t be cold-calling candidates or sourcing resumes. Instead, you’ll be focused on the people already here—helping them navigate their careers at Booth from their first day onward.

What You’ll Do

  • Onboarding:

Help welcome new hires and make sure they have everything they need to start strong on day one.

  • Team Support:

Act as a go-to resource for team questions about company policies, benefits, and tools.

  • Records Management:

Keep our digital files and employee database organized and up-to-date.

  • Company Culture:

Help organize team events, celebrations, and internal meetings to keep morale high.

  • Office Ops:

Assist with small administrative tasks that keep the HR department and the wider office running efficiently.

Who You Are

  • Reliable:

You show up and follow through. People can trust you with sensitive information.

  • Organized:

You actually enjoy making lists and keeping files in order.

  • Helpful:

You have a "no task is too small" attitude and genuinely like helping others solve problems.

  • Good Communicator:

You can write a clear, friendly email and speak confidently with teammates.

Why Join Booth?

  • Gain hands-on experience in the administrative side of HR.

  • Work in a supportive environment where your questions are encouraged.

  • See the direct impact of your work on the company’s daily operations.

Requirements

Education

  • Current Student or Recent Grad:

Pursuing a degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Basic Knowledge:

A general understanding of what HR does (you don't need to be an expert, but you should know why "People Operations" matters).

Skills

  • Organization:

You’re the type of person who uses a calendar and never misses a deadline.

  • Communication:

You can write a professional email without typos and explain things clearly to others.

  • Computer Basics:

You know your way around Google Drive (Docs/Sheets) or Microsoft Office.

  • Problem Solving:

If you don't know the answer, your first instinct is to try and find it.

Traits

  • Confidentiality:

This is the #1 rule. You’ll see sensitive info, and we need to trust you to keep it private.

  • Positive Attitude:

You’re willing to help out with any task, whether it’s a big project or a small administrative errand.

  • Eye for Detail:

You notice the small things that others might miss (like a misspelled name on a welcome sign).

  • Curiosity:

You’re eager to learn how a company actually runs behind the scenes.
