About the Role
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join one of our global clients, a leading organization operating in a dynamic, international environment. This role sits within a shared services structure and focuses on delivering high-quality HR support to employees across the EMEA region. You will act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries, ensuring smooth HR operations while collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for employees across the EMEA region, handling a wide range of HR-related queries
Provide guidance and support on core HR processes, including time off, leave management, benefits, and compensation
Collaborate closely with Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Payroll, Data Operations, HR Business Partners, and Legal teams
Ensure compliance with local regulations, with a strong focus on German employment law
Prepare and manage HR documentation such as employment verifications, reference letters, mutual agreements, and unpaid leave requests
Support and deliver onboarding sessions for new employees
Guide employees in using HR self-service tools and systems (e.g. Workday)
Manage and resolve employee cases through case management systems (e.g. Trax)
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes within a shared services environment
Requirements
Previous experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role, ideally within an international or shared services environment
Solid understanding of German employment law
Experience supporting a large, diverse employee population
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday or similar platforms
Fluent in German and English
