
Job Title: HR Generalist (Field & Operations People Partner)
Location: Onsite San Jose, California
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 12:00pm - 9:00pm (with flexibility)
Base Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 plus Booster Equity Grant
Travel: 10%-30% (primarily between local yards and nearby operational sites)

About the Role
The HR Generalist (Field & Operations People Partner) plays a critical role in supporting the people and processes that keep Booster’s frontline operations running strong.
This is a field-facing (3-4 days onsite) hands-on HR role focused on real-time support for Service Professionals (SPs) and yard leadership. You’ll spend much of your time onsite and in the field—listening, problem-solving, and helping remove barriers—while also building scalable, repeatable HR processes that reduce friction and drive consistency.
You’ll support day-to-day HR Operations including onboarding, documentation, employee relations, communication, and compliance, while learning the foundations of Booster’s People Operations system. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys learning by doing.
Success in this role means helping transition HR from reactive to proactive through structured problem-solving, standard work, and daily management, aligned with Booster Business System (BBS) principles.
